Privacy

Cathaybound is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising pixels and builds no profile of you. Any analytics we run are aggregate and cannot identify individuals.

If you use the feedback form, we store what you send: the message, the optional email address if you gave one, and the time it arrived. Nothing else is collected, and none of it is shared or used for marketing.

If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Cookies and your choices: strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Anything else — analytics or advertising — stays off for visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland until they switch it on, and the Cookie Settings link in the footer lets anyone change their mind.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we read it and treat it as a valid opt-out, with nothing to click.

Your privacy rights: depending on where you live — California and several other US states, the EEA, the UK — you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of tracking or of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer, or write to us from the contact page. Asking never gets you a worse experience.
